Establish, maintain, and continuously enhance the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Collaborate with Business Application Owners to define service trees and map infrastructure using ServiceNow Service Mapping Ensure integrity, accuracy, and currency of all Configuration Items (CIs) Define, implement, and enforce ITIL-aligned configuration policies, standards, and procedures Align asset and configuration data in close cooperation with the Group Competence Center for IT Configuration Management Support the integration of IT Asset Management and Configuration Management processes and tools Work closely with Change Management, Incident Management, and the Service Desk Conduct audits and process reviews, identify discrepancies, and drive corrective actions Train, advise, and support IT teams on configuration management best practices Contribute to ITSM improvement initiatives, especially in the areas of automation and tool integration Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification is an advantage Strong understanding of the ITIL framework; certification (ITIL 4 Foundation or higher) is highly desirable Proven professional experience in Configuration Management within medium to large IT environments Solid knowledge of IT Asset Management and its interaction with configuration data Hands-on experience with CMDB tools such as ServiceNow, i-doit, BMC Remedy, Matrix42, or comparable platforms Structured, detail-oriented, and process-driven working style Confident communicator, able to collaborate effectively across departments and stakeholder groups Very good command of English, written and spoken Experience supporting ITSM-related projects, particularly automation and tool integration initiatives Confidence in conducting audits and ensuring compliance across IT processes Fexible working hours and home-office option Extensive Learning & Development opportunitie Life balance & family-friendly benefits Modern office environment with canteen Health & sports programs Gehaltsinformationen The minimum annual gross salary for this position is €70,000.
